gardens and fairies

i'm sitting in my living room, cat blinking away on my lap, reflecting on my week. some weeks are so stressful, you cant wait for them to be over. this wasnt that kind of week. this was the kind of week where my house stayed gratefully clean, two new critters joined my menagerie (yay for fancy rats!), and the fairies are dancing in my little hanging garden. gardening seems to have been a theme of my week, i'm playing a fairy game (online) where the highest level has you make a garden for lower-level fairies to play in. of course it mostly turns into a "give me what i want" kind of thing, but it's a pretty idea: the older ones creating something beautiful for the younger. when i get old, i hope i have something beautiful to leave behind for the next generation.
