Voodoo Music Experience

I'm not gonna make a full post about everything that we experienced at Voodoo Music Experience, let's just say that it was amazingly badass. For a full recap of the day's events check out "ZZTodd":http://mog.com/ZZTodd.I still can't even believe I was there...seeing RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!!!It was almost surreal being there. The whole day I was waiting patiently, but the last ten minutes before they came on might have been the longest moments of my life. The anticipation was killing me. But after it was all said and done, it was the most badass show I have ever been to. The craziest part I would have to say was when Zack de la Rocha came down from the stage and jumped into the crowd...just about five feet away from me! I accidentally took a video of it instead a picture, so you guys can't see it unfortunately. It was an insane moment though!Anyways, here are all the pictures.main stagesecond stageEarl GreyhoundGalacticBlack Rebel Motorcycle ClubPorcupine Tree...from far awayKings of LeonPre-Rage Stage(Todd's quote)Rage Against the Machine! The Ground AfterTodd and me after, looking dead

  3. meko says Bassman long time since i heard from ya were ya been? besides the show LOL, You know i am with shades of grey but i also play for my church non denominal and the bass player Bruce is one of the best bass players i have jammed with, He realy walks that fretless bass like it is a part of him and he is in his fifties and he loves all the classic rock, Clapton, iron butter fly, zep,Jeff Beck, Yard birds and so on When he gets his puter on line (He has just moved) I will try to get you to guys together I am sure he can lay something down for you to practice. Glad you had a good time at the show. DID IT RAIN THERE? It did here from thursday till sunday after noon. Keep your ears open and if you hear something new and good let me know. THANX KEV from shades of grey.

  4. Anna says Thank you for the pics! With Todd's reviews and your pics, we all got a good taste. BRMC and Porcupine Tree performed under sunlight? That's a bit weird. I see dead tired MOGgers! :)

  5. bassguitarhero says Thanks Lyrikhan. Yeah, being that close to the stage is insane, it's just a fight to survive. Yeah it's been a little while since I've posted, I'm gonna try to keep up with that better. With two more shows in about the next two weeks I probably will. That guy sounds awesome, that would be great if he could give me some stuff to practice. That's always greatly appreciated. No it didn't rain there though on that day at least. I'll be sure to let you know if I discover anyone else. Thanks kev. Yeah they performed just about when the sun was starting to go down. The first show at night was Kings of Leon, as the pictures show lol. After getting all the Rage out, we were definitely dead.
