Bomb Scare

So there was a bomb threat near my office today. Kept us cooped up inside when we should have been out eating lunch. And no delivery, either. The cops were keeping everyone out of the area. Isn't delivery an inalienable right? Anyway, snapped the photo above just before the police shooed me back inside for my own safety.

Hard to pick a "bomb" song to associate with this post. So many to choose from! The Clash, "Spanish Bombs" and New Young Pony Club, "The Bomb" almost made the cut but I'd heard both recently...

Addendum: according to the Mercury News, it turned out to be an ordinary suitcase. Left at my bus stop. I wonder if the 911 caller spent this past weekend not sleeping and instead watching a "24" and Fox News marathon and is now convinced that they're out to get us, they hate us for our freedom, and offshore oil drilling will solve everything.

Meanwhile I bet it wasn't a suitcase at all but my lost Sidekick.
