Review of Asobi Seksu's Rewolf

Here's one I've been really looking forward to for several years, not that I've known about this particular reworked collection for that long, but as a whole, I've been trying to get in on Asobi Seksu since being completely wowed by seeing them perform live.

Rewolf is a small (ten songs) collection from Asobi Seksu's career. This may not be the best jumping on point, as the album does have several b-sides, meaning it's not necessarily their best work. While that may be true, it also could lead to much more. It's not hard to fall in love with a band's full career if you can love even the stuff they chose not to release in mass quantity the first time around. Really, if you like the stuff they didn't think was good enough for a regular album, how could you not like their best works.

Asobi Seksu delivers all ten songs here in their typical, dreamy, pop fashion. Everything is light and feathery laden with charming guitar work and the beautifully gracious sound of vocalist Yuki Chikudate's voice.
