Just announced, is another new festival, the one day, 12 band show entitled Epicenter 2009. It's being held on Sat. Aug. 22 at Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
Lots of rock to shake the ground in this earthquake of a festival: Tool, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains, Wolfmother, Atmosphere, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, Street Sweeper Social Club, Aesop Rock, Sonny and others.
Tickets are $79.50 for GA and $125 for VIP, onsale Saturday, June 27 10:00 a.m. (I'm assuming local time) at Ticketmaster.com. For more info: www.epicenterfestival.com.
