Big Surpise Tour conjures up images of revue shows

Old Crow Medicine Show, Dave Rawlings Machine (featuring Gilian Welch), The Felice Brother and Justin Townes Earle are lined up for The Big Surprise Tour.
The nine date east coast tour is built with the intentions of recreating an old-time revue type of show.
Shows will have two 90 minute sets broken up by an intermission. The bands will have free range of the stage playing on each other's songs and probably creating some new music as they go
If nothing else, this would be an interesting approach to touring. It certainly helps eliminate the "isn't every concert the same" theory that has been preached to most music fans at one time or another.
