Anti-Flag - People or the Gun

Strangely enough, after the final results of the 2008 U.S. general election were revealed, one of my first thoughts was 'huh, wonder what Anti-Flag will write about now that Bush is gone.'

Of course, I realize there's still plenty for these punk rockers to vent about, ranging from the economy to the religious right and it's not like the war in Iraq/Afghanistan is over. So really, not that much changed for Anti-Flag's ninth album, The People or The Gun.

At 10 songs, The People or The Gun is one of the band's shortest to date (again, may be subconsciously related to the change in leadership as they haven't had enough time to fully evaluate the Obama administration). It's everything this Pennsylvania band is known to be. It's hard, it's fast, it's punk with an attitude and a message, it is Anti-Flag.
