The Nashville based Kearney takes full advantage of his musical stylings with easily accessible lyrics and the natural flow of the 2000's singer-songwriter made ever-famous by Dave Matthews.
The 12 songs on City of Black & White bear a quick resemblance to Coldplay, but Kearney also does a good job of laying the foundation for something he calls his own.
