Soulive launch new label, album & tour

Just one month following the 10 year anniversary of Soulive's existance, will bring a huge month for the group and its fans.

On April 14, Soulive will drop their new record, Up Here, on their new label, Royal Family Records. Just a day later, the group will embark on a 5 week US Tour beginning in the northeast and finishing in San Diego.

Up Here was recorded late last year and according to drummer/vocalist Alan Evans, "this is the Soulive album I've always wanted to record - I've been hearing it in my head for years."

Up Here will be the first record on the new imprint, but several other projects including Lettuce, Eric's soul project "Chapter 2" and Alan and Neal's solo records will likely see some releases on the new label. The first new artist for the label is soul singer Nigel Hall who will release an EP this spring. He's also touring with Soulive.
