Easily one of my favorite forgotten gems of the late 1960s is this little ditty by the Joe Jeffrey Group. It is a perfect blend of sunshine rock and soul. The track was released on Wand Records and reached No. 14 on the Billboard pop charts in 1969. It was the band's only hit, and the group was dropped by Wand after only a handful of singles. The band called it quits shortly thereafter.
