Does anyone else act like a complete ass when driving around with good tunes blaring? I tend to attract unwanted attention but I just don't care ... I LOVE rocking out, singing at the top of my lungs, and of course trying not to be too distracted as I am bound to run in the back of someone's car one day and have to blame it on The Format. This morning, Ray LaMontagne eased me into my morning commute (which by the way is 15 miles, which ends up taking over an hour!) then I rocked out in bumper to bumper to The Format and their version of indie-pop goodness. Just wondering if any of the other crazy music lovers on this site act half as retarded as I do on their commutes?

  2. Dale says If I commuted, I'm sure I would sing along at the top of my lungs too.

  3. jonnyalmagest says Oh you know I'm a car rocker. Wait, that could be taken the wrong way...But you get what I mean! It's fun in traffic, especially when you have the windows down so others can hear what you're bumpin to.

  4. lemontwist says I went for a run today with my new MP3 player and wished I could play air guitar as my arms were pumping trying to propel me, and I was definitely lip syncing. If I hadn't been running you can bet I'd have been singing at the top of my lungs. But, er, no job means no commute. And no money means no driving. So no bad ass rocking in the car for me yet. :)

  6. hngilb says Oh, yes I can only imagine what the other drivers think of me, especially my air drums. I’m also guilty of singing/dancing/air guitar while shopping. It’s a habit my friends would like to disown me for.

  8. padfoot says It's okay, just explain to the person you just cut off that you're listening to Ray LaMontagne, and they'll understand. He is so awesome.
