I guess many true Pumpkins fans already know this, but Corgan and the band released a free album in 2000. "Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music", was originally planned to be released as a double album, just like Mellon Collie..., but was denied by their record label, Virgin. There are a couple of newer songs I am listening to right now. One is Green Day's "Working Class Hero" and the other is Sum 41's "Underclass Hero." It strikes me that the names of these songs, both by pop punk rock bands, are so similar. I'm sure Sum 41 would love to be like Green Day, and I wonder whether these bands actually like (or know) each other.I am going to admit that I did not know that
