WHERE MUSIC RULES AND WE PITY THE FOOLS

Broadcast

You know how in the 1930-40s, we had this vision of what the future was? Chrome rocketships, jet packs, and everyone dressed all in white? Trish Keenan and James Cargill live in that future.Luckily for us, in the early years of the 20th century, they boarded the first interdimensional rocketship and crossed to our space/time, and they're now releasing music under the name Broadcast.Evoking 1960s lounge music reinterpreted through claustrophobia and static, Broadcast sounds like being with your lover under a warm blanket with the nice buzz of a Merlot swimming through your head. Make "Man Is Not A Bird", from their Haha Sound album, one of the first selections on your new journey through time.I'm done with being overly pretentious in this post now. :)

  1. Mischief says Broadcast sounds like being with your lover under a warm blanket with the nice buzz of a Merlot swimming through your head. Oi. Bloody good simile.
