Before Bobby Brown and too much Blow, Whitney Houston's perfect delicate voice showed up on an album by the funk-jazz relatively unknown group of Bill Laswell's called Material. Her voice and the sax solo just blew me away. I remember seeing her on the Johnny Carson show and her voice was so pitch perfect it was incredible. She set such a high standard that I think it was even hard for her to maintain it.

This is a pretty sweet track. Bill Laswell is so awesome. He's hit and miss but when he hits it's top notch.

For some reason I can't get mog to upload some of my ITunes library....Very frustrating...I don't know where to even search for it.....This is why I haven't been posting that much...
