Ain't no one can doubt the powah of Chaka Khan's vocals.The band was kickin' too.Truly funkified.How in the world could people ever be into "Big Hair" bands like Cinderella and Motley Crue when this was happening? There were the Crusaders, The Tower of Power, George Duke.C'mon people- let's get our priorities straight!!!:)

MasonJar says Amazingly, I was just listening to this tune today. And with every verse Chaka would sing, all I could think was, "Man, that woman had (and probably still has) a tremendous voice." Along with all of my other funk, there's this great funk compilation I have that I've been playing in the car for my nearly six-year-old son (he's totally into the funk — his request this morning was "Superfly"). But "Tell Me Something Good" is on the compilation. He doesn't quite have the appreciation for this tune that I do. Thanks for showing Chaka the love.
