I notice that this is my third post in a row featuring a song with "jungle" in the title. Happenstance, oddly enough.Anyway, right now, right this minute, The New York Dolls are playing in NYC. "Stranded In The Jungle" is introduced by Mr. Electricity, Don Kirshner, who all but apologizes for what we are about to see. It's true The Cadets' original is superior, a little mayhem-filled movie-for-the-mind. There's a Pirates of the Caribbean fan video on YouTube "*scored with The Cadets' version;*":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fA_ZMESCMU&feature=related just so you know, the sound is overloud and distorted. Turn it way down and you should be okay. There is also a homemade baby video featuring the track, "*here.*":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx37MyryrnE The sound is fine, but the visuals are only for those who really, really, really like babies.

The New York Dolls are/were Cool! And Todd Rundgren produced their 1st album. Gotta love it. My favorite Dolls song is 'Personality Crisis' from this album of course!
