old friends may remember this post from way the heck back. well, turns out the fine folks at misra beat me to the punch and released sleeping states' debut album, "there the open spaces" this week. i kind of one-upped them, i s'pose, by joining the band. we are heading out on an old fashioned rock and roll tour this week and i thought i'd post some dates in case any of y'all want to come and have your brains blown all to shreds.

Y'all enjoy yourselves. I'll try for Atl., but 0730 the next AM may prevent. For that TBA on the way to TX, may I suggest "Bottletree": http://www.thebottletree.com/ in Birmingham? I know it's not really on the way, but Brian Teasley from Man Or Astroman? co-owns. A really nice spot. Even if not playing, they have great food and an even better vibe. This song is really nice. heck, i didn't recognize the new non-bearded look:) this is where we'd heard of each other... it was great playing with you guys at Holocene, i hope you're enjoying the rest of the tour. see you around in Portland.
