Based in Sweden, Evergrey are specialists in dark progressive metal. They released their first album, The Dark Discovery, in 1998. The next release was Solitude Dominance Tragedy. In 2001, they released their finest work to date, In Search of Truth. By this point in the group's career there were only two original members left, vocalist Thomas Englund and drummer Patrick Carlsson.
