annuals, consistently one of my favorite bands, doesn't disappoint with their new split ep 'wet zoo'.
'split' being three songs by annuals and two songs by 'sunfold', a band made up of the same members as annuals, but fronted (written) by kenny florence instead of adam baker. the immense talent is still there, but the sound is entirely distinct.
i posted a track from the annuals side of the band, one i've already become enamored with. 'sore' is very representative of annuals' sweeping build of epic artistry. enjoy!

sturgell...that's ridiculous!!! lol it looks like a joke...
mollifire...although i had a friend propose that it could also refer to a zoo in which the animals were wet...eg from the rain or taking a swim. and then they shake off their water and get all the zoo-goers wet. hence a wet zoo. although i think it is still an aquarium.
puella...SO wonderful. i love love love be he me and give 'wet zoo' a try. everything they touch turns to awesomeness.
