to everyone!! hope you had a great holiday. filled with great music, of course. i received a guitar and apparently will now be learning how to play. that should be fun. i've also enjoyed having more time for the piano lately.
i saw the lonely forest play on saturday night. they're a local band that SHOULD be better known...their performance was incredible as well as fun, very in-touch with the crowd. john van deusen and co put on a great show - good energy and lots of passion. i think it's safe to say it was one of the better shows i've been to this year, even though they didn't play my favorite song off "nuclear winter"...so i posted it for you!
