...and i am no longer a college student.

i have to say, it was a difficult and exhausting week, and i can't believe it's over. i was able to graduate a quarter early, which will save money, but does this mean i have to get a real job??

on the other hand, this quarter has been an incredible one for musical treats. i can't say it enough...there are so many talented musicians here on-campus. notable events have included the talent show (including a spot-on cover of radiohead's 'reckoner' and an amazing original composition that included a string quartet), SPU student showcase (I got to select the musicians for that one...how about hand-picking your own show!!), and the Worship Arts Ensemble playing all original songs at the Triple Door (my first time ever at that venue...what a great show!).

included in this bouquet of musical events was a small Covers Contest last week in our lounge. the girls that won covered TI's 'whatever you like'. lucky for me, our campus radio station recorded the event and made mp3's available of all the performances. my favorite happened to be the always-covered 'hallelujah'. i just love the voice and the passion. so you get to listen to it as well!

i'll hopefully be back more often now that the frenzy of my last quarter has finished. i'm also working on summer plans and next year...we'll see what happens.

it's good to be back!

Congrats and a big High Fiver!

I am sure you will miss the PSU experience but you are on to bigger and better I'm sure!

BTW, did you see the movie, "The Music Within"? A great PSU story and what cool place to do a movie!

What's on the agenda, more music in the future (as far as career)?

    Cheers, INdy

kaleef...thanks for that. it was quite the warm, intimate stage. i was sitting on the floor right in front of it all, drinking it all in.

anna...thanks! good to konw i'm not the only one overwhelmed! i don't even understand...it will probably feel like an extended summer vacation for at least awhile.

sam...thanks! and yeah. i'm getting a dvd of the show. if i can find a way to share it on here, i will.
