Softlightes?

Posted about 5 years ago
All I can think is how long it takes to make these kind of videos. I like this one, it's really colorful. I've never heard of the band, Softlightes, they're from California according to their myspace page. The music part is okay, a little too pop-esque for me. But the colors and the words and the animation-- that's pretty cool.

  1. SatisfiedMind614 says As somebody who makes a lot of quickie videos...when i see clipls like this I just become speechless! I don't have the attention or the patience to do the kind of editing that they do...God bless them though, the final product always looks so good

  2. annnna says haha yeah I know-- that editing is amazing. and the time it took to get all the material to make the edits, i wonder how much footage they must have cut. things like this sort of make me want to experiment with windows movie maker, maybe put that youtube account I have but never use to use finally.

  4. Squips In A Jar says I think it's one of their better songs. The video is typiccally indie with all the colors, and stop animation. Your lcky they play NOY on your radio. They don't for me.

  5. Caers says I like the song; it's kinda summery, the sort of thing I'd listen to to cheer up. And what a great video.

  6. patradio says Hey! Thanks for the note on my mog, and that's a cool video. Softlightes used to be The Incredible Moses Leroy. I listened to them for about a month, thinking "Man, these guys are totally ripping off The Incredible Moses Leroy."... Duh! :)

  9. MovementAndRepose says hey, thanks for the welcome comment! That video is amazing. The level of creativity there, in both the song and the diversity of the video, and that the two fit so well together, speaks highly of the bands artistic ability. All in all, I like these guys, I think I'll look them up.
