WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

(6)

My hands are a wreck and my painting clothes have to be retired, permanetly, as hazmat gear.

I have been staining a gazillion linear feet of redwood for our backyard trellis, and it will FINALLY be compleated on Monday.

Upside - Satisfaction in job well done, Listening to my music at earsplitting levels and getting this crappy project done.

Downside - Fumes, Mess, Stain on, Stain off, Stain on, Stain off.

Major Downside - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

I don't know how The Mighty Mighty Bosstones got in my iPod. I know I never bought it. I don't remember ripping it into iTunes. But while I was moving through my artist list, there it was. And in keeping with the moto "Try new things grasshopper." I put it on. I patiently listened to the whole album. I recognized their one single from a few years back, but yet, I still listened. My mood didn't get better. The album is a complete mess, and I want my listening time back. I could have listened to something good, but instead I wasted my time on that SHITE.

I quickly followed up with something much better, familiar, and many glasses from a good bottle of Zin.

Que EC & The Attractions please.

My mood improved, in spite of the job at hand, and I am almost done. Yea!

Thanks for listening.

Much better indeed - I, too, was never able to truly appreciate The MM Bosstones, but so adore Elvis Costello. Nice selection!
