WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

It is supposed to be summer folks...

I was just sitting down to post, to recount set my thoughts in motion and consider the day. The thing I flashed on in my mind was how flipping cold it was today. As I’m thinking that thought, that very thought in mind, to myself, I hear this voice come from the other room. The voice said “It was freezing today. I had my light jacket on, but I wished I had my big jacket. It is sure a cold day.” The voice belongs to my son’s best friend. He is in the den, playing video games while my son brings the garbage bins back from the street. Who was he saying it to? The world in general I guess, no one was in the room, he was just stating the fact. With perfect timing I might add.Yes it was cold today, and as other San Francisco Bay Area residents can attest to, it always happens in the summer. Note to any potential SF visitors in the summer, remember to bring your woolies, and layer, layer, layer. Today I was huddled over my heater in my office, and it was on high. Damn. We are so near the bay here in Alameda, and 2 blocks from the beach, I just can’t get warm.

  3. FluxCapacitor says Your son's best friend is right! Where is the summer gone? It's now rained 59 days in a row here in Ireland. Which is actually very unusual. On one particular cold and miserable day in June it rained more than every other day of the year combined. Rain, rain, go away, come back another day...

  4. Girlcrawl says This song is warmingly delightful - a favourite White Stripes tune amongst many. Thanks for posting, and cheers!
