Another Kind of Love

Posted over 4 years ago
Shortly after Peter Gabriel released "So", Hugh Cornwell released "Wolf". I bring it up only in the comparison of Cornwell's video "Another Kind of Love" and Gabriel's "Sledgehammer", both using stop frame photography. The video says it is no longer available, but if you touch it...it will start. While I was intrigued by the video, I got this on the strength on Hugh voice. Yes, it is a bit 80's and dated, and a more produced departure from The Sranglers, but it is like a comforting blanket I put on when it is cold. And today, it's chilly.

  1. soulrocket says very cool. all stranglers members released solo albums. I agree it sounds a bit outdated. same for "euroman commeth" by jj burnell (stranglers bass player). you may like to listen cornwell’s "nosferatu" album, despite the title is worth a listen.
