I like them, a lot actually.  Very cool.

I like the wall color too.  You have great taste :)

    Nick - Merci!

DMDM - No symbol yet...let me know when you figure it out.

Amber - No white walls in my house.  My bedroom is mint choc chip.  Two walls brown and two walls minty.  My favorite ice-cream.

I knew I liked you...there's no white in my house either.  I have burnt orange in my hall, mustard yellow and grey green in my kitchen, dark blue on my staircase walls...grey brown in the bedroom...dark, warm earthy colors.  White is for boring people.  ;)

No coincidence that you & BG have a similar look is there, you Uberfan(and no I'm not saying you look like a guy at all, so DON'T even go there, haha. Ftr, I think you're quite beautiful). Liking them, the glasses are a little different shape from your old ones. SO trapezoidal, baby!

Why so serious-looking? You should be wearing the I'm-taking-over-the-world expression on your face, not the do-I-look-too-dorky? one, In other wordsm they rock,

By the way, Squeeze played this song exactly two weeks ago tonight....

I need some new face jewelry too...maybe I will go out tomorrow and get me some fancy new frames.

August, you are one observant fellow...  ;)

I don't wear glasses, but if I did, I too would go the geek chic route.  No offense intended.  I would like glasses soley to rip them off my face a' la David Carusso in CSI, everytime someone asked me something.

Anna - Thanks for going outta your way for me.

Jonh - While I was getting them fitted, I heard a woman ask for frames like Palin's...I kid you not.

Cinder - Been wearing chunky plastic frames for over 10 years...I started the trend.

CDW - The image of you taking off your glasses a la David Carusso...priceless.  I can picture you practicing it in the mirror...with the look.

Dale - Smiling in pictures...not the easiest thing for me.  I feel fake and it shows.

    Sam - I can't wear contacts...not really a choice for me.

Ivy - That was my I'm-taking-over-the-world look.  I'll work on it more.

Van, Rawk, Groon, Mistee & Ian - Thanks!

Aug. - Half joking completely serious are you?  They are bigger because they are progressives (the new bifocal as  I'm getting older, spend to much time in front of the computer and can't read the fine print) and they are transitions so they also serve a sunglasses.  I went bigger because the wee ones look mental when they turn into sunglasses.

Chris - Post 'em when you get 'em...that's what I say.

Annie - A rush on Palin's glasses style actually made one of the serious newspapers here. along with the fact that she chose from over 700 styles. I wilted when I read that - anyone in a specs shop is choosing from over 700 styles. What's that about politicians and getting what you deserve? Does that apply to media too?

'Half joking completely serious are you?' I was just heading you off at the pass from interpreting my comment in a bad light since it didn't sound like the compliment I meant it to be after reading it, but I guess I didn't succeed, sigh, I give up. . . . And isn't it the point of wee frames to look mentally intelligent(not mental)?

I need to get bifocals & have so resisted them for years. Age is a mutha!

p.s. I just looked at your pic above again & realized that it looks like you have a barbed wire halo on the back of your head. I thought it was a hair thingy. I finally figured out it's the candle holder on the wall(from Illuminations? love that shop) in the background, ahahahaha! You're a barbed wire angel Annie, hee hee

I love pics like that that aren't supposed to look like what they're supposed to.
