MOG MOG

WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Artist:
Album: Melody A.M.
Track:

I felt like the karate kid of the BBQ.

Lid On...Lid Off...Lid On...Lid Off...

Only the finest charcoal & wood chips would do.

Look Amber...there is the tip of my shoe.

The sun eventually made an appearance. Yeah!

I like my applecider vinegar pull & slop sauce to be more tomatoey and less mustardy. I usually don't follow a traditional recipe.

With fresh coleslaw, it was sooooo worth it.

That's my boy...Isn't he handsome?

This was what I was listening to all day while BBQ-ing. After posting about Erlend Oye, Dale turned me on to Royksopp...

Thanks Dale (another notch in the belt).

Lyrikhan - that is no toy gun...fully & semi auto airsoft gun w/ "granade" launcher...I have little yellow bee bee's all over my yard...to bad they don't make 'em biodegradable. Yes...eye protection is manditory...I have to have some rules at my house.

Dale - I bet you get good BBQ where you are in the world...famous for it I hear.

Sam - That grill is too funny...I am printing out the picture and it is going up on the fridge.

CBW - I liked the graphics in the vid too...but I dig that sort of stuff.

Great! Now I am hungry.

If you're in good enough shape to run, chase and shoot your friends...then you are never to old for an air soft gun...there is a place in the Oakland hills, under pine trees that we take the boys for air soft "wars". Pure heaven for them...so fun to watch.

I'm wondering if Dale thinks your son is BBQ meat w/his first comment up there! hahaha Your son is handsome though somewhat pale, so maybe the BBQ would help w/his skin tone @=P

Liking Royksopp, they sound great! Heard of them but not heard their music.

Loving that Death Star grill too Sam! Funny!

Any poultry on the grill? (I'm not much of a meat eater.) Seems like it was a bang-up time. (The boy looks ready to rumble, and yet, I'm reminded of the immortal words from the film "A Christmas Story" and the Jean Shepherd story that spawned the script: "You''ll shoot yer eye out, kid!" Be careful, sonny.)

My nephew just introduced me to Royksopp a few weeks ago and we watched a bunch of their videos. I introduced him to Kraftwerk which he found very amusing.

the only problem with that grill is that it has one weak spot. if you mistakenly light a match in there... kablooie

HA HAHAHAHA .... loved the tip of the shoe!

you were BBQ'ing and I was standing in the sleet/snow/rain/muck watching my daughter play soccer and slide in the sleet/snow/rain/muck. Next time I'm coming to your house instead.

Mike - New flash...poultry is meat. Please note the goggles so he doesn't shoot his eye out...I LOVE that movie.

Lyrikhan & Ardy - It is a Geico commericial...but it is the remix of Remind Me, not this one. It's a little softer version.

Groon - You have a little something in the corner of your mouth...no...the other side...over a bit more...there...you got it.

Bill - More affectionately known as the Pork Butt 'round these parts...I like the way you put it better.

Aug. - He does seem pale...maybe it has something to do with that concussion he got last Wednesday...Yep, spent all day in emergency. But that is a story for another day.

Sam - I was wondering about that defect.

Dar - Good to hear you return the favor...one good turn deserves another.

Amber - I have to call 'em like I see 'em...How did that sneaky wee tip get in that shot...Oh yea, I am a crappy photographer. I forgot.

How 'bout this to warm the cockles of your heart?

Okay, that's not true. I can't back that up. But I still love me some hot chocolate.

OK. OK. Not much of a red meat eater, but BBQ chicken and fish? Mmmmm...good! (Sidebar: Jean Shepherd, who also narrated "A Christmas Story," is a lifelong hero of mine. He was one of the great monologists/orators/broadcasters of the 20th Century. I'm just testifyin' here...)
