  5. Augusts1 says Is there something wrong w/Hot Chipiness? Not in my book, hehe. How about Postalchipiness? @=P The first two songs kinda remind me of The Lightning Seeds too.

  6. Mike the Knife says Liking tune and viddy, but WTF with the "video not available" note all over MOG today? Somebody call Tech...

  7. annieander says Mike...Glad you like this stuff too, I am seeing it "Not Available" all over the place too. I wish I knew people in important places. Aug - Nothing wrong with Hot Chippy...not at all, but not Postalchippy...I will let nothing mess with my Ben Gibbardy goodness. The Lighning Seeds...new to me.

  8. deadmandeadman says This early eve has proved very surprising. Between you and Augusts1 you're gonna drag me kicking and screaming onto the dance floor!.

  10. deadmandeadman says I make Elaine Dennis seem graceful. Plus, I sound like a flock of castanets when I dance.

  11. annieander says Yeah, I get that. My husband has to dance "over there" when we go to concerts. Karate chop and all.

  12. Dale says I love Erlend Oye's voice, it's so smooth and pretty. I'm digging these songs as much as his work with Kings of Convenience and Royksopp.

  13. annieander says Thanks Dale - I am set to investigate Royksopp next.

  14. Sam The Artist says OOHHH. royksopp. that makes sense. he also reminds me of (if i could add another artist to the 'sounds like' list) chromeo. maybe more because he looks like one of them. haha

  15. Dale says Beware Annie, Erlend Oye sang on a couple of songs on their album Melody AM, but otherwise it's all instrumental, IIRC. Start here: *Poor Leno*

  16. laura27 says i love erlend oye, his voice is so soothing. i first got into him because of royksopp, you should definitely check out Melody AM (although you'll probably recognise most of the tracks on it anyway). Their second album didn't really do it for me. Then I heard Kings of Convenience and was like 'that voice is very familiar'. However, I didn't realise he has solo stuff too? It's a great song, must check that out. Thanks!
