The planets must have been in perfect alignment today

Everything went so well today (the work got done, the boss was pleased, the library had the books & dvd's I wanted, the boy was out right after school to be picked up, blue skys, brisk weather)....hot damn, what a good day.Here is a little something something to share...

    annieander says That is so funny you posted Perfect Day...I was just listening to my Trainspotting Soundtrack the other day...more planets in alignment. Yes, it was a good day, but by no means perfect. Perfect does not include work of any kind, cleaning the house, getting my boy to do his homework or blistering heat. Perfect is close to what I had on Sunday...a day in San Francisco. The skys were blue (a blue you can only imagine) and the day was brisk. We had snacks and rented a tandem bike in Golden Gate Park (which is closed to traffic). My boy & his best friend skated and we chased him down on the bike. We were goofy, all of us, even the pre-teens, because no one knew us, or we didn't care. We got home late, exhausted from fun, and slept like the dead. That's as close as it gets.

    Bartleby says Wow, your Sunday sounds pretty much like a perfect day. I'm not sure I can pinpoint any day as close to perfection. It's like meeting the one, I guess: you only know it once it's done and gone... I wouldn't mind something with a celesta like this Sunday Morning ;)
