My cousin, Michael, knows his music. I’m fortunate to receive, every so often, a cd from him, from somewhere in the world. This morning I decided to crawl back under the downy covers to sudoku with my iPod. Along came this choice piece of music by Stina Nordenstam. I had listened once before, and had dismissed her as a Swedish Hanne Hukkelberg. I have posted about Hanne "here":http://mog.com/annieander/blog_post/79963.Stina has the same breathy quality as Hanne, without the mechanistic sound that I really dig. Maybe it was because I was extra cozy (my cat, Scrunchy was asleep on my chest and purring like a chainsaw), who knows, but I was really taken by this album.
