Hey, does anyone have this on mp3? It's about two years old and BSS went on Morning Becomes Eclectic to support their s/t album. I only have Superconnected and Major Label Debut from it, and I'd love to have more. Thanks!

The only problem with that one is that all the songs I need don't work haha. That's where I got Superconnected and Major Label Debut from originally.

I don't think I've ever heard a more amazing band, and I'm pretty effin' serious when I say this. The books specialize in utilizing and sampling "found music" in their songs along with string instruments and digital melodies. If you want an example of cool found stuff, go to www.foundmagazine.com. I recently purchased their three albums, The Lemon of Pink, Thought For Food, and Lost and Safe. They are such a wonderful band, such ambience but so technical at the same time.

In summary, it's basically the music that fits any situation, but is especially good for lying on your bed and staring at the ceiling and thinking.

I've attached one of my favorite songs of theirs for your listenign pleasure. Please enjoy, this band needs more attention!

I agree. I wrote about Lemon of Pink last week. It is beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing the band live next month.

This track was given to me on a mix and I think it's one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard, however quite unfortunately I am not aware of the title, artist, or album. Listen and let me know if you know!

I contacted the friend that gave it to me. It's The Books with There is no There. I'm also pretty sure that's einstein talking about Ghandi.

This is strange. I just downloaded the latest Books album at emusic right before I commented on your post. I hope that song is on the album. I only listened to the first couple of songs......but their sound and style is amazing.
