My introduction to Genesis

I got into Genesis back in 1976 when Trick of the Tail appeared. The artwork on the album was fab, the single was great and I played the album to death. I loved Genesis until they started realising their commercial stuff such as ABACAB by which I felt they had sold out.Now and I again I revisit Trick of the Tail, Wind and Wuthering and Then there were 3 and still marvel at how fresh they sound.......

    bodger99 says All depends when you got into Genesis I guess. My personal views would very much be in agreement with 'andrewdavidlong' but I've got a good friend who would totally agree with 'Groon' and prefers their really early stuff. I think that some recent live stuff ('The Way We Walk' or something) - was pretty good. Anyway, a pretty good group.
