oooooh i've been away for a while and that makes me sad... work has been stressy and i've been having to deal with all kinds of politics. who would have thought science could be so bitchy?! jeez. makes me think twice about what i am doing in this field. anyway i've been keeping sane with the panda band... they even wrote a song about alana! (skyring, of the grates). i'm not sure what i like about this band, they certainly aren't my usual taste. they're pretty odd, but in a good way, and they are the freshest australian music to emerge in a while. i can't define them at all, so i can't even come up with a "if you like... " list. do check them out at myspace and let me know of any comparisons you come up with.
