MOG MOG

WHERE E=MC HAMMER

I went to see The Long Winters last night with my friend, Jaye. Now, it was at my favorite venue, The Showbox, in Seattle and I think I might like the Wiggles if they performed there, but it was terrific.

John Roderick and the band seemed to be so very happy to be there; they constantly had huge smiles, interacted with the crowd, and played an extended set. The audience was filled with fans and newbies and everyone there was feeling the tunes!

About half through the set, we had a nice surprise of a guest drummer. A certain Mr. Ben Gibbard joined the band on stage a beat the skins with skill. I love special guest appearances when at a show, and Ben is very close to my heart anyhow.

Afterwards, got my limited addition poster autographed by John and we got our pic with him too. Super, super nice guy.

So, now I prepare myself for Ted Leo and the Pharmacists on Tuesday. Awwwww, life is gooooooood!!!! cheers! amber

I'm a professional drug dealer (uh, pharmacist). i just like to have photos to remind me of the shows I go to. And I use some shitty little cheap ass digital camera. I just stand REALLY CLOSE! Hard to get all bad pictures when you are 5 feet away.

Rawkkiddo--aren't you dead? and yes, they played cinnamon. they played for around 2 hours! rocked and rocked

I asked cause thats what Photographers do...take a ton for a tiny amount...my old bass teach after he decided to put down the bass & went to Cal Arts...it was an odd place for photography...too subjective, where photography involves more technic from what I noticed.
