WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

well....the weather outside is frightful!

Posted over 2 years ago
I'm sitting in my living room, cup of coffee in hand, watching the season's first snow fall outside my window. I would be annoyed; Seattle doesn't handle snow well and I have things to _do_ today AND a Thermals show tonight. But my 7 year old is skipping around *THRILLED* and it's impossible to not catch her spirit of the season. So I couldn't get a decent picture of the snow fall but here's the Seattle Christmas Tree and a song that never fails to make my heart clench with the joy of the holidays.Happy Holidays to you all, and don't let the craziness get you down. :)

  4. Librarianguish says It's starting to come down a little bit here now - just little flurries...but the sky is very DARK. It's going to be an adventurous outing for me today for sure! They say it's not supposed to really stick until much later this afternoon and evening, if at all. I suppose I'd best get moving so I don't get snowbound off the island! Ha ha. I'm now grateful for my new tires!

  6. amber says It's lovely out. The sun is trying to break through the clouds but it's that thin, watery winter sun. There is supposed to be more snow after noon and I'm starting to think Christmas tree. Time to get the decorations down from the attic.! Where's that husband of mine? :)

  9. Dale says Bah, you don't know what you're missing Ash. I would have greatly preferred snow to the rain we got today. Yes, while camping. Bleech.

  13. amber says It snowed all night. I got up early, built a fire in the fireplace, got a cup of coffee and heard the dreaded words "can I go out in the snow?" followed quickly by "Will you go with me?" Since I'm trying for *Mom of the Year*, the answer was a resounding yes. The dogs liked the snow and played like pups 100_9573 Vannatta, you said to make a snow _creature_, so we made a snow-cat in your honor. ;) 100_9585
