WOW, what 365 days can bring...

_(I had a long, amazing post all typed out and it got eaten by the MOG gremlins and don't have the energy to re-create it, so here's the condensed version)_I've been skipping and dancing and singing in the streets of MOG for a year now and what a year it has been. *Music*, you've all given me _such music_. My ears bleed with the new tunes I've been introduced to by the good folks of this community. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Apples in Stereo, Pinback, Art Brut, The National: the list goes on and on. Thank you. As if that's not enough, it gets better. I've formed amazing and lasting friendships with MOGGERS. Some I've had the pleasure of actually meeting in "real life" and some remain (temporarily, I hope) virtual, but all are valued incredibly. Never have I found so many music geeks, so much like me. ;) The people here are amazing, loving, kind and brilliant...I count myself so lucky to have found you. Some of you (and you know who you are) are friends of my ears, and my heart. And who knows what the future holds? There's always room for more.What have I given MOG in return for so much, you ask?     Jonh Ingham says I for one love the shoes. Rock star faces, muso fingerings on instruments...these we can get anywhere. But musicianly shoes requires true fandom - you're at the front! Looking forward to another year of your great reviews of bands I've mostly never heard of before.

But it was an immense pleasure meeting you at the Gorge! And taking a picture of our feet :) asrati: not sure where Pegasus fits in, but my 7 year old daughter made me print it out so she could color it...and promptly added horns and flames out of its nose. I would worry if I didn't find her so darn fun. Jonh: you mean you've never heard of BOAT, and Awesome and Frightened Rabbit??? =O) Well, now you have. And I think it's your consistant comments on my posts that inspires me to continue the shoe-shots. So now everyone knows who to blame! ;) Thanks for always being there. xoxo Cody: I'm not sure if I did start it...maybe...but I certainly have always loved shoes (I'm a woman, after all) and musician's shoes seem to just _leap_ into my camera's view. Jox: It takes a real man to appreciate a woman's footware. I'm surprised, however, that you don't prefer pictures of Jenny like these: Jenny Lewis and Rilo Kiley and Jenny Lewis ;) Wanbli: pie....man..I need to go on a diet from all these treats. =o) Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
