let's pack up and move to...ivyland???

has anyone ever had a song they liked so much that within one mere week it became their most played song??? or that you and your friend dance to, no matter what kind of weather???? (hint-me and kirsti during that really bad ICE storm up here-st. patricks day i believe.)well, california is it. i actually first heard it on [gasp] laguna beach...stupid show. can't stand it, but i was bored and it was on, so i watched it. and i got the "let's pack up and move to california/she's got lots of friends out there" line stuck in my head for a week... i searched everywhere for the song, frostwire, webjay, iTunes, i even considered calling one of those lines where you call and sing and they see if they can name the song for you. no luck until......i was chillaxing as i always do at kirsti [pants]'s house and we were listening to her iPod when......."let's pack up and move..." the rest was drowned out by our singing. we now consider it our [lewis and clarks] theme song. so when that blizzard came and i slept over at her house we walked down in the foot of [ice] snow with the volume turned up to 11 and pretending we were surfing (the ice was that bad) down the street. the next morning we observed numerous cuts and bruises we had from sliding across the ice and running into things, but the fun we had outdid that. and i would do it again anytime...but only if there's snow.
