WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

ANTI-FLAG...enough said.

Posted over 2 years ago
wow, just bought For Blood and Empire off of iTunes yesterday just cos i had nothing to do except laundry [insert rolling of eyes and sighing] so i burned it onto a cd. First twelve tracks are great...the thirteenth??? complete crap. i'm not saying its crap all together, it's good songwriting, but its so...ugh...*poppy*. i really don't want poppy from anti-flag. i want anti-flag from anti-flag!!! i know that this is the end (of you my friend) is a little more poppy than the rest of the cd, or infact as i prefer my anti-flag, the message is insane! ever watch the video? you learn all sorts of fun facts about the problems people have with their bodies. so anti-flags message? as good as ever. their album??? not as good as the others.

  1. dj ivi says i'm there with you. i prefer my anti-pop music to not be poppy. i had the same complaint about an ISIS album. it was so clean and so commercial, while the albums before and after were so heavy and noisy. when i want heavy, i don't want pop. nice to see i am not the only one! great post!

  2. amandameister says thanks. i try. well, actually i don't. i just write what i hear from a band and how it affects me....i think it might be called a review. go figure! but yeah, earlier anti-flag is way better, maybe the issue with Justin Sane and the umbrella impacted the music better???
