I've found it. I've found the first really spectacular album for me for 2007. In all technicality, Damien Rice's 9 was released in late 2006 (November to be exact). Damien's breakthrough album, O, was absolutely perfect in itself and, truthfully, I almost like 9 better. The lyrics are original and truthful in a very bare way. They're the kind of imagries that can be understood without understanding, and applied to a million situations, all in the same way.
