All Music GuideOriginally released in 1994, De Mi Alma Latina is the first of two volumes of traditional Latin American standards performed by the hugely popular Spanish tenor Placido Domingo. Recorded with the VVC Symphonic Orchestra, it includes 31 pieces composed by the likes of Alberto Castillo, Chabuca Granda, and Juan Gabriel, alongside an original track, "De México a Buenos Aires," written by his son, Placido Jr.
