Score for the film by Peter Greenway. Nyman's filmscores make effective use of baroque harmonies (Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Purcell...often in traditional "chain of suspensions" technique) and Phil Glass-like harmonies (Wagnerian thirds mixed with modal scales) combined with obsessive patterns in the British "minimalist" style to make a sound of his own. Excellent production by composer David Cunningham.
