This disc features 14 previously released tracks pulled from the original cast recordings of Annie Get Your Gun, Dames at Sea, Anyone Can Whistle, Sunday in the Park with George, Song and Dance, Into the Woods, Mack and Mabel, and Gypsy. The compilation itself is unremarkable, but some hardcore fans might jump at the album insert, which includes an original interview with Bernadette Peters and photographs of the artist in various states of costume. Masterworks Broadway's 2006 treatment of Peters' career probably won't interest die-hard collectors, but it would serve as an adequate introduction for the casual fan.
