15 Años de Rock en Tu Idioma comprises more than a decade of "Rock en Español" history, bringing back songs mostly performed by Mexican acts, from the dark ambient style of La Castañeda and the alternative pop/rock of Fobia to the fusion of rock, ska, and Mexican folk sounds of Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Qunto Patio. In addition, this collection features the mystical style of Santa Sabina, and the rebellious Tijuana No!, who are known for their lyrics in defense of minorities. Argentine Los Fabulosos Cadillacs joined in with a live version of their classic "Matador." Aterciopelados, the successful Colombian band led by Andrea Echeverry and Héctor Buitrago, open this compilation with their first smash, "Florecita Rockera."
