Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 contains 12 of Don Williams' biggest hits from the mid-'70s, including "Amanda," "Come Early Morning," "The Shelter of Your Eyes," "I Wouldn't Want to Live if You Didn't Love Me," "We Should Be Together" and "The Ties That Bind." In addition to the hits, the compilation contains first-rate album tracks like "Ghost Story" and "I Recall a Gypsy Woman," making it an excellent retrospective of Williams' early career.
