Despite its generic title and look, this 20-song set is actually pretty solid, drawing on the tracks the Wailers recorded with producer Lee "Scratch" Perry at Randy's between August 1970 and April 1971, sessions that many feel were the strongest the Wailers ever did. Tracks like "Duppy Conqueror," "Sun Is Shining," and "Fussing and Fighting" point to the kind of writing and execution that would soon propel Bob Marley to world fame, while Peter Tosh's "Four Hundred Years" and Bunny Wailer's "Dreamland" were also indicative of their later work.
