Even having left 14 Bis in 1987, the main composer of the group, Flávio Venturini, joins the vocal/instrumental group as a musician for this release. After a four-year break, Cláudio Venturini (voice/guitar), Vermelho (keyboards), Sérgio Magrão (baixo), and Rodrigues (drums) were again on the road with this album. Not relying anymore on the competence of Venturini, almost exclusive composer of the songs interpreted by 14 Bis, including most of the group's hits, now the other members participate more actively in the creative process. No hits came from this album, but fans of their sound will find the usual delicacy in "Vida Nova" and in the instrumental ballad "Tema Em Fá," the ecological concerns in the Indian-inspired "Todos Nós," the romanticism in "Contas do Amor," and the folk acoustic strings in "Siga o Sol"'s intro. More aggressiveness is found in "Bandeiras," in the rock "Cidadela," and danceable funk in "De Ponta Cabeça." The band continues to deliver its own sound with competency, but it is still in search of a new route as far as compositions go.
