Naked Music NYC looks to the heyday of '70s-era soul for inspiration on What's on Your Mind? While the group assimilates their influences well, they don't really bring anything new to the sound. As a break from the monotony of contemporary R&B aesthetics the album is entirely welcome, but taken solely on its own terms it doesn't leave much of a lasting impression.
