One of Germany's biggest pop stars in the new millennium, Sasha (aka Sasha Schmitz) continued his long string of hits with 2006's Open Water, which found the vocalist collaborating with producers, musicians, and songwriters Fabio Trentini and Robin Grubert. Including the singles "Slowly" and "Goodbye," Open Water debuted on the German charts in the Top Ten, and was one of the highest-charting albums of the singer's career.
