Keep On Burning, Pt. 2 is the second single from Edwyn Collins' excellent 1997 album, I'm Not Following You. Apart from the title track, a wonderfully bouncy, Northern soul-inspired groover, the disc contains three non-LP tracks. "Won't Turn Back" is also very much in the Northern soul bag, featuring strings, slinky background vocals, and a huge hook; "You've Grown a Beard" is a withering attack on music biz doubters and haters on top of a sweet folky tune. Best of all is a live take on his smash hit, "A Girl Like You," with Collins on acoustic guitar and inspired vocals and guitar god Bernard Butler on crazed wah-wah guitar.
