AMG Review of Visions
Adam Greenberg
All Music GuideThe second album under EMI Classics from the Libera boys choir from London, Visions showcases an array of classical crossover styles. There is a core of liturgical music here, reworked for the choir's signature sound. A highlight in this aspect is the newer arrangement of "Libera" -- where the choir took its name and an adaptation of the liturgical Libera Me. Along with the traditional music, there are hints of a more contemporary nature, such as the cover of "Wings of a Dove" that became a relative hit for the group.
